Powder pink, cotton white & oyster pearl…. soft colours that blush with the bride. Laura was one of the early brides that popped in our studio this year, with her mom and adorable grandmother. Though she didn’t really speak much English, her grandmother always smiled sweetly at my every comment and her caring personality really shows through Laura and Laura’s mom. They loved our work immediately and they were so easy to talk to! Sweet, organized & decisive, Laura really was a pleasure to work with.
For Laura’s bridal shower invitations, I created a small sketch of her actual wedding gown, and turned it into a whimsical and classy invitation. And to continue on the the theme of the flowers and dress, we created a soft tri-fold invitation in powder pink, with a swarovski crystal detail and hand-stitched double ribbon. Laura was inspired by the Filipino tradition to include an entourage list of the bridal party in invitations. And so, she also published a list of her bridesmaids and groomsmen within her invitation: a sweet gesture to the party and also good for guests to have an idea of who’s who!
The banquet hall so beautifully dressed in the photos is the Manor at the Carrying Place Golf and Country Club, located in Kettleby, Ontario. Laura & Antonio’s family had a great time celebrating the coming together of two good-looking and kind-hearted young people, at a beautiful venue. What else could you ask for?
Congratulations to Antonio & Laura 🙂
