    Little Artists in the Making

Before I go into this weekend’s posts on Hong Kong (finally ready), and also on the Weddingbells & Wedluxe features (on news stands now!), I wanted to share this tidbit of warmth.

I began scribbing when I was a 1 year old, and I began to draw cards when I was 3, before entering kindergarten. By 5, I was already putting “barcodes” on the backs of greeting cards that I made for my family, naming it “Holiday Greetings Ltd.” A few weeks ago, at a family dinner, my two favourite munchkins in the whole world, T & L, gave us some homemade birthday cards!!! Made of construction paper, crayons & stickers, they are so full of life!

I can’t wait for them to develop artistically and become my little Paletterians 😉 Right now the letterpress is too big for them to use on their own, but I’m sure in a few years they will be typesetting their own vintage type blocks and pressing some wonderful creations!

Handmade Correspondences by 3 & 5 year olds! XOXO
